Strategic Account Manager For Indonesia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Influence Customers to choose 3E solutions, whilst retaining a Total Customer Experience in the respective accounts
  • Management of assigned account(s) by developing partnerships and through the coordination of sales, sales operations and technical support teams
  • Responsible for account penetration development, customer satisfaction and long term sales results
  • Owns customer relationship with assigned accounts
  • Positions 3E within highest level of assigned account and maintains executive level relationships
  • Leads company-to-company relationships to develop competitive immunity
  • Teams with internal 3E resources and leads the virtual account team in making the best business decisions for the customer and 3E overall.
  • Attain targeted sales goals and performance through the effective management of resources
  • Sponsors and institutionalizes new and innovative ways of working in teams to meet customer needs/sales objectives
  • Provide leadership to the virtual account team
  • Develop a trust-based, mutually beneficial relationship with principal customer sponsors of the Account. Must mature and formalize Account relationship expectations and address all 3E products & services with a growth strategy for each that maximizes “customer share”
  • Work with Product Management, Marketing and R&D to identify and validate product features and solutions required by target industry/clients. This includes presenting and soliciting target customer feedback on advanced product features, benefits and future product directions concepts.
  • Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of the entire 3E product line.
  • Manage and drive competing requests across simultaneous client engagements.
  • Provide clear and constructive product feedback to 3E Product Management teams based on customer requirements

Key Competencies:

  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers
  • Proven account development skills and track record in driving new product introduction
  • Highly motivated & innovative individual who can work independently while leveraging various internal and external groups necessary to achieve success for all stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing selling strategies for software system solutions, ideally in large multi-vendor computing environments
  • Ability to coordinate and support sales in all Marketing related needs
  • Solid experience in the Indonesian oil & gas industry, including knowledge of current industry trends and challenges
  • Strong understanding of strategic sales process
  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage competing client demands
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills


  • Minimum of 3-5 years of software solution sales and marketing experience selling planning or petroleum economics software to the upstream Oil & Gas industry in Indonesia
  • Bachelor's or Advanced degree in a related technical or business discipline or equivalent
